Dear {{First name | Fellow Toastmaster}}!
Our GGTM stage was set for transitions as we elected new club officers for the July-December 2025 term. We will build on the amazing work our previous officers have started with new exciting additions. 📣 Stay tuned! 📣
In the next couple of weeks, the outgoing and incoming officers are doing handover of responsibilities. Thank you for running our club for the past six months: Alex, Gene, Karishma, Adam, Katie, Albert, Tavisan, Scott, Nik and Sebastien! The new officers will officially take their roles on July 1!
🚨Before we begin… 🚨
Moving forward, we will start our newsletter with highlighting how to make our club experience better! This week, let’s get you set up to get the latest info EVERY TIME! 💪🙏
1️⃣ Subscribe to GGTM Google Calendar
This is where we will capture all club events, share information about wider Toastmasters opportunities and spotlight activities from fellow members!
2️⃣ Setup GGTM Discord Access
This is the fastest, and most active way to engage with your fellow Golden Gate Toastmasters. Check instructions in the #welcome channel to get started after signing up.
3️⃣ Email [email protected] to ask for or share information
We are streamlining how to ask for/share ANY information within the club! Drop an email (both for members and guests) and we will make sure that it will get to the hands of those who can best support you.

Scott learned not to make easy things extremely hard and shares it with his Best Speech!
The meeting theme is transitions, aptly chosen by our Toastmaster for the Evening Albert to reflect the club elections held on the second hour of the evening!
Thanks to those who helped run the meeting:
Lindsey, Omar, Alex W., Albert, Gene, Lisa, and Michelle
Thank you to our seven guests who spent their Wednesday evening with us.
Some highlights from our shortened meeting:
♟️ Scott related a chess game full of twists and turns from his youth, when he still had a full head of hair, that taught him not to make easy things extremely hard (🏆 Best Prepared Speech 🏆).
Thank you Gene for also doing a prepared speech!

Mike gives his Best Evaluation advising to combine with personal touch to elevate a speech
💝 Mike D sagaciously (word of the day!) analyzed Gene’s narrative and how it could be combined with a personal touch to elevate the speech (🏆 Best Evaluation 🏆)
Thank you Lisa for evaluating of Scott’s speech and Helen for being the General Evaluator.
🏛️ Nik related his trip to a certain big clock tower in London when he was 11 and how it sparked his love for architecture ( 🏆 Best Table Topic 🏆).
Thank you Michelle for leading Table Topics and Christian, Helen, Zak, Alberto, Angela, Shubham and Carnell for speaking impromptu!
