💸🖥️💖🗣️5th May Club Meeting Highlights

Last Wednesday, we were enriched with stories of Culture, Creativity and Compassion for one another along with learning to think about the world around us a little differently.

Thank you for those who took on roles to run our meeting: Caitlin, Tanuja, Monika, Karishma, Nik, and Alex.

During our meeting we:

  • 🗣️ Jay gave us a two-minute special by informing us of an exercise to use when you have a bad day: What is something you are proud of in your personal or professional life?

  • 💖 Shelia gave us a helpful guide to offering support and the different kinds of support people might need depending on the situation.

  • 💸 Brandon shared his second part of his speech, “The Secret Numbers of My American Dream,” focusing on his early career, success and what it meant to him rather than to outsiders. (🏆 Best Prepared Speech🏆)

  • 🖥️ We learned from Shubham lessons from her first live demo and how to be better prepared for stressful situations.

  • For Table Topics, Katie (🏆Best Table Topic 🏆) brought humor to the stressful part of life, bringing up her Medical History and how it’s shaped her early life.

  • 🗣️ Heard Mike’s evaluation of Sheila’s speech, giving valuable feedback on her performance (🏆Best Evaluator🏆).

    • Thank you to our other evaluators Karishma (evaluating Brandon), and Jack (evaluating Shubham).

    • Thank you, Helen, for leading the Evaluation section.
