Adam nailed his first Toastmaster gig on 07/17. You rocked!
Speaking of Adam, we wanted to say Congrats on officially becoming the GGTM Club Secretary!
GGTM will take to the stage at Embarcadero Bricks for a pilot showcase of what we do. Save the date: August 21, 11am-1.30pm. More details coming soon. If you're interested in learning more or helping out, please reach out to Katka and Gene.

This is a drop-in session to cover any questions you might have about onboarding steps, Pathways and mentorship.
Seasoned members, new members, you’re all welcome to join. No question is too small/big/silly!
We will be holding these sessions every 2 weeks.
07/24(Wed) Club Meeting
Back to the Future reverse meeting! Come prepared for a creative and hilarious take on a traditional meeting.

Today we will highlight some Pathways resources. Choose from 11 different learning paths to get started! there’s even a helpful quiz if you’re not sure. We’re here to guide you, so come with your questions to the next Talk Tank session (Mon 22nd July 6-7pm).
“To compete in the TMI speech contests you need to have completed Level 2 of Pathways. That’s 6 speeches (3 in Level 1 and 3 in Level 2) in total. You might already be halfway there 🙂 Make your speeches count by logging your progress in Base Camp! “
🤝 ♣️ July 17 Club Meeting Highlights
Our first time Toastmaster for the Evening Adam chose the theme of determination. He showed how a determined and groovy (word of the day) attitude can result in an awesome meeting enjoyed by members and guests alike. Guests also showed their determination in facing their nerves and many stepped up to do ‘Would you rather?’ themed Table Topic.
Thank you to our 11 guests who spent their Wednesday evening with us! 🙏
Great job to our members who ran today’s meeting: Adam, Prat, Daniel, Alex C, Alex W, Tavisan, Gene, Katka, and Jay.

🧱 Heard from Gene that GGTM has an opportunity to be on stage at the Embarcadero Bricks in August.
🪞 Were convinced by Helen’s sales pitch for Pathways. (🏆 Joint best Prepared Speech 🏆)
🚗 Enjoyed guest speaker Angeli’s contest speech about how she is learning to ‘Pay Attention’ (🏆 Joint best Prepared Speech 🏆)
🇸🇰 Learned a lot about Slovakia from our President Katka. (🏆 Maverick Award 🏆).
👨🚒 Heard how Ryan would prefer to be a Firefighter rather than a Police officer (🏆 Best Table Topic 🏆).
