Congrats to Grace for winning the Best Table Topic for her speech on teaching therapists new ways to treat their patients
Juan coming in hot with the Best Evaluation award, evaluating Alexandra’s speech
Alexandra won the best Best Speech and Maverick award! Her speech was terrific, talking about her experience in leadership.
Huge shoutout to Sebastien for doing his Ice Breaker speech, discussing how he has been able to overcome all obstacles that have been thrown his way

Apart from (obviously) bragging rights - what do you REALLY get when you become part of Toastmasters? Access to A TON of resources that you can utilize for your self and community development!
Our first entry to Toastmasters - Club Meetings! We get to not just practice our public speaking on a regular stage, we also get to be part of running or leading a dynamic, organized meeting
Pathways is Toastmasters’ core education program offering specialized learning paths with key resources guiding you every step of the way. The program is constantly evaluated and improved to accommodate the growing learning needs of Toastmasters. In fact, the system is being updated right now until 10/25 so stay tuned for the new and improved Pathways experience
Network with driven individuals who are constantly learning and growing the community. You get to meet people who WILL introduce you to the next cool thing you’d want to explore! There are workshops available either on club or district levels, events that allow you to help revive public city spaces, invitation to celebrations of our community builders or hangout with friends to hear (or tell!) beautiful storytelling.
Let’s scratch beneath the surface and optimize being a Toastmaster!

🤝 October 16th Club Meeting Highlights
We had an incredible meeting that was led by TM, Alex L, who taught us all about setting goals for ourself and following your own path(way). Thank you to everyone who spoke and brought the energy that made it such an engaging meeting.

This Wednesday, we:
Heard Katka kick us off with her “3 minute special” about how she hates networking events, and how people only care for their own personal gain
Sebastien gave his Ice Breaker speech about his difficult uprising, but how he has been able to overcome all obstacles thrown his way. He also reminds us to live more in the moment and put the phones away!
Mark gave his speech on leadership styles and how people be lying in the workplace!
Alexandra, who won our Maverick and Best Speech Awards, also spoke on the topic of leadership, and how big corporations have to facilitate better.
Katie gave great table topic questions on motivation, based upon the theme of the meeting: GOALS
Our guest, Mike with the Bike, spoke about how he measures personal success by the happiness and relationships he builds with those around him. He also said it took him 15 minutes to realize how much he loved GGTM and looks to become a member!
Grace L, our Table Topics Winner, spoke about her lessons she takes to help therapists better understand their patients
Our evaluators were Shubham, Adam, and Juan (Best Evaluator)
