This Wednesday, we:

  • 💬 The word of the day: Transformation was a welcomed word, as used by many of our guests and members.

  • 🎤 We had a full house at our Toastmasters meeting this week, with Monica A. leading as our Toastmaster for the evening and sharing her experience and journey of transformation through her Toastmasters career.

  • 👏 Thank you to all of our functionaries who helped run this week's meeting: Alex W., Sheila V., Jordan A., Gene Z., Amanda M., Alex L., Katie, and Nick T., a few of whom took on multiple roles.

  • 🎙 Katie led Table Topics and won the Maverick award as we continued the theme of transformation, asking questions about change.

  • 🏆 Prat won Best Evaluation on Tavisan’s speech, which summarized the storytelling focus and noted how relatable it was.

  • 💬 Grace, our Table Topics winner, talked about life, the lesson of being vulnerable, and allowing yourself to connect because we only have one lifetime to live.

  • ⭐️ Nicholas T. recounted the evening with his General Evaluation of the night's happenings. It was a great meeting with a warm opening and full of diverse stories. He assured us that we too will become expert clappers, just like Jay.
